FAQs

Who can live at BeGranada?

BeGranada welcomes students aged 18 or over from any university and any country in the world. We are proud to host both national and international students.

What is the contract length?

Our standard contract runs for 10 months, from 1 September to 15 July. Before booking your room, please carefully review both the contract duration and the cancellation policy.

What if I need accommodation for less than 10 months?

If you require accommodation only for the first semester, your contract will include a clause stating that you are responsible for finding another student to replace you as the tenant of the room until 15 July. However, there is a high turnover of Erasmus students at the end of January and during February, so finding a replacement is generally not difficult.
BeGranada will assist you by promoting your room through our website and communication channels.

Are kitchen essentials and bedding included?

BeGranada provides:
• Mattress and pillow
• Mattress and pillow protectors
• Basic kitchenware (plates, cutlery, glasses, pans and pots)
Duvets are available upon request for an additional fee. Please contact our team for current pricing.
Students must bring their own bed linen and towels. Please check the bed dimensions on our website before arrival.

What documents are required for check-in?

Before your arrival, you must provide:
• A copy of your passport or national ID (and visa if required)
• Your university admission certificate
• Your permanent home address
All documents must be submitted prior to check-in.

What payments are required before arrival?

To secure your booking, you must pay a refundable deposit equivalent to two months’ rent.
The first monthly rent payment, utilities fee, and administrative/management fee must be paid once you are in Granada.

Is internet included?

Yes. High-speed WiFi is available throughout all BeGranada residences.

What are the guest policies?

Please refer to the guest policy section in your contract for full details.
The main condition is that guests must respect the tranquillity and privacy of other residents. Please also note the Penalty Clause for Disturbance and Night-Time Activities.

Will my room be cleaned?

Residents are responsible for keeping their rooms and shared areas clean and tidy.

Laundry facilities

Each flat/apartment includes a washing machine and ironing board for residents’ use.

Can I change rooms after moving in?

Room changes are possible subject to availability and must be justified. An administrative fee of €100 applies. Please note that room rates vary depending on size, layout, and location within the building. If you move to a different room, the rental price may change accordingly.

What happens if I lose my key?

Upon check-in, you will receive keys for the main entrance and your flat/apartment (some rooms also have an individual key). If you lose a key, please inform us immediately. Replacement cost: €20 per key.

Maintenance support

Our on-site maintenance team is available to handle plumbing, electrical issues, and general repairs in both private rooms and communal areas.
Simply submit a maintenance request and we will take care of it as soon as possible.
